Water & Sanitation Project launched at Wassa Saah

 A water and sanitation project has been launched at Wassa Saah in the Amenfi-East District in the Western Region of Ghana at      a durbar of Chiefs, Elders and the people.Wassa Saah is the third Community to benefit from the project titled” Potable water      provision and sanitation in four (4) rural communities in Ghana”

The project expected to be completed in June 2015 was launched by the Chief of the Town and attended by Messrs.’ Benard Kyei and Fynn Dodoo from the Ghana Council of Belgium, Mr Kwaku Acheampong from the Foundation for Development (FOS Belgium) and the staff of COLISO.

Currently, there are only few hand pump boreholes serving the Community with a population of about 3,500 people.

The construction of two public toilet facilties as the third and final phase of the project will be implemented in Jema Nante in Brong Ahafo Region of Ghana between July, 2015 and February 2016.
